GDOReviewed by oldtimer01, 2010-03-04
This has to be the quietest GDO that has ever been built, what a difference and all of the items that come with it for a very secure garage door and safe.
Very QuietReviewed by Ed Berger, 2010-03-03
It took me about 5 hours to install. I was helped by the fact I could use the ceiling mounts from my old opener. About the only fault I can find with the opener is that every once in a while I have to adjust those "electronic safety eyes" that are mounted near the floor. I have had the unit about a month now and had to re-adjust these 4 times. Other than that I really like the opener.

I replaced my 10 yrs old Genie screw drive garage door opener with this one. The Chamberlain drive belt opener is really quiet. Glad that I don't wake up my neighbors when I open the garage door at night again.
Best opener on the marketReviewed by Peter J. Bigley, 2010-02-08
My 12 year old Liftmaster went on the fritz and I needed a quiet replacement. After looking at the reviews, this one came up and Amazon had the best price. There overnight. Installed in less than 3 hours. The best I have ever seen and NOT heard. Love all the security features, love everything about it.
Works well and like the wall controlReviewed by Ryan, 2010-02-08
Had a 13 year old unit that was installed wrong (door bumped the
track), and sometimes came home to find the door open though it was
closed when I left...
New unit arrived on-time, in original packaging (eg as you would
find it from a hardware store, not double boxed), which was plenty
safe - the thing is well packed - foam + strategic inner
cardboard.
Single person install, including taking down the old unit, doing
alignment, etc was probably a bit over 2 hours. Instructions were
pretty good. One step that got me was the spring tension clip for
the belt - I was originally putting the screwdriver on the wide
part with no success - when I finally realized the screwdriver was
supposed to be pressure against the thin metal disc (like a washer
with cut outs on the edge) it clicked right away. I ended up using
the mounting arms from my old unit - they were better attachment
points than what was included. (May take pics to post next
weekend)
Used the remote to train the Home-Link control in my car, then a
press of the Learn button on the opener, followed by two presses of
my car's Home-Link button and it was working great.
I'm happy with noise level and speed of operation (much faster vs
the old unit). I also like the wall control that lets you operate
the dual lights independent of opening the door.
